The revised RMG-417 Supplier Pay On-Time or Pay Interest Policy came into effect from 1 July 2019. Previously, non-corporate Commonwealth entities were allowed up to 30 days to make payments to a supplier, however the policy now states that payment must be made within 20 days of a correctly rendered invoice under the contract value of AUD$1 Million (GST inclusive) or less. Penalties will apply if full payment is not made within the maximum payment terms.
